My October flower drop was the first chapter of The Flower Chronicles — a monthly bouquet designed to tell a story through seasonal flowers, created to bring light into homes or be gifted to someone truly special.

Floral storytelling
October is a month that whispers of love and gratitude, soft, beautiful, inevitable.
In this bouquet, blush meets bronze,
and seed meets stem.
Your flowers are a quiet conversation between affection and appreciation, between what has been cherished
and what is yet to bloom.
A celebration of love that deepens with time, of beauty found in change, and of the quiet grace that lives within every season of gratitude.
Flower selection and symbolism
Each bloom in this October bouquet holds its own quiet meaning.
Brown lisianthus speaks of calm confidence, appreciation and enduring beauty. Its earthy tones grounding the arrangement in warmth and quiet strength.
Pink carnations bring tenderness and affection. A reminder of love that softens the season’s edges. Do you know that carnations are the birth flower for January?
The airy panic grass drifts through with wild grace, symbolising friendship, resilience and the freedom found in change.
Scabiosa stellata, with its sculptural seedheads, tell of memory, transformation, and beauty preserved beyond the bloom.
And the pistache foliage gathers everything together, a symbol of protection, peace,
and the strength of togetherness.
Together, they tell a story of grace in transition; of warmth, memory, and the calm elegance of October’s turning.
