The Duo of the Year

I created this story and delicate arrangement for the daughters of a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary, designed to beautifully complement their father’s story and bouquet for his wife, featured in The Duo of the Year. Together, the pieces honour not only enduring love between husband and wife, but also the deep bond shared within a family shaped by years of love, loyalty, and togetherness.

Floral storytelling

The Duo of the Year

You’ve choreographed a life for us with steady, loving hands, the strongest lead and follow that a family demands.

Through every "up" and every "down," you kept us on our toes, providing us a warm, safe home where only kindness grows.

From teaching us the right and wrong to acting as our guides, you’re the role models we look to with such gratitude and pride.

We know you missed your own nights out to sit within the stalls, trading dinner dates with friends for dance exams and halls. For every sacrifice you made to watch us leap and spin, we hope you know the depth of love and thanks we have within. You work so hard to give us more than we could ever need, sowing every opportunity and helping us succeed.

You push us to perform our best, to reach a little higher, your constant help and best advice provide the spark and fire.

And when the world is wide and grand, you take us by the hand, to see the wonders of the earth and walk on foreign sand.

Those memories are cherished gems, a world-tour of the heart, made possible because you worked so hard right from the start.

On every special day we have, you go the extra mile, to make us feel like stars on stage and leave us with a smile.

So here’s to you, our Mum and Dad, the duo of the year!

Flower selection and symbolism

Like the nodding bells of these campanula, you have always cheered us on through every performance.

These flowers represent the gratitude we feel for the beautiful life you’ve choreographed for us.
