Queen of the valleys

These flowers were thoughtfully created as a gift to a lady. They reflect the warmth of a traditional Christmas; one where beauty is intentional, memories are treasured, and love is deeply felt across generations.

Based on my December flower drop, I personalised the story and symbolism for a much-loved mum from her son and family.

Floral storytelling

Dear...

Born beneath the valley skies, Pen-y-Graig your first true home,

Where stone by stone your father built, the streets that taught you how to roam.

With pride that time can never fade, for roots like yours run deep and strong; in every life and love you’ve made.

Llewelyn and Gwyneth’s girl, with Gareth, Ann and laughter near. You learned the art of caring then, and carried it year to year.

From village lanes to Whitchurch roads, you followed love, and married Geoff, April’s promise, ’73, a life begun, a future set.

You gave the world two grateful sons, and shaped us quietly,

day by day, with open arms and patient strength.

A grandma sooner than you’d planned; the Porsche postponed (still waiting!); as babies filled your heart and hands.

Five grandchildren, two more beyond, great-grand love upon your face. Still no sports car in the drive, but joy has clearly won the race.

With kindness given, year by year, you’ve shaped our lives by always being near. Our family’s heart, our constant light.

With thanks and all our love...
